The Storage Point Scientist will ensure optimum water quality at storage points by conducting investigations, managing water quality action plans, and supporting operational teams. This role involves onsite and office work, providing scientific expertise, and participating in out-of-hours standby processes.

Lead and develop a team of Storage Point Scientists, ensuring optimal water quality at storage points. Provide expert advice, manage projects, and promote continuous improvement in operations and safety. Mentor team members and handle risk mitigation strategies related to water quality.

Support design and delivery of Strategic Pipeline and WRMP capital projects by bridging design, delivery and operations. Produce impact plans, verify mitigation measures, support design reviews, HAZOPs and site visits, and ensure operational, safety, maintenance and control requirements are met while engaging stakeholders.

Lead the transition of reporting and analytics capabilities during migration from SAP ECC6 to S/4HANA. Ensure existing services remain trusted, identify opportunities to modernise and rationalise reporting, shape solution design, and work with business and technology stakeholders to align future-state analytics, governance, and data quality.

Lead hydraulic modelling projects, mentor team members, engage stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement in modelling processes and standards.

The Trainee Modeller role focuses on learning to model and analyze water and wastewater systems, involving hands-on problem solving, training, and technical mentorship to develop expertise in hydraulics and surge analysis.
