Manages the full grant lifecycle for IRC Sacramento, including funder prospecting, proposal and budget development, contract negotiation, compliance, reporting, documentation, and subaward partnerships. Maintains grant pipelines, calendars, systems, and standard operating procedures while coordinating with finance, programs, headquarters, and external funders. Supervises and trains a Grants Coordinator, supports organizational accountability, and serves as a subject-matter expert on internal grants processes and systems.

Supports the Grants Manager with maintaining grant databases and documents, tracking grant activity, scheduling meetings, monitoring deadlines, preparing donor- and staff-facing materials, conducting funder prospect research, and assisting with grant management projects. The role requires strong Adobe Premiere, InDesign, and Canva skills, adult learning experience, digital accessibility knowledge, and the ability to manage concurrent projects on strict timelines.

Leads IRC’s Economic Empowerment department, overseeing grants, contracts, budgets, compliance, workforce development, Refugee Cash Assistance, and One-Stop Operator programs. Supervises program managers and staff, develops proposals and reports, ensures quality assurance, builds employer and community partnerships, supports fundraising, and drives sustainable career pathways programming. Represents IRC with stakeholders and governmental partners while managing multiple concurrent programs and promoting organizational values.

Supports IRC immigration attorneys and DOJ Accredited Representatives with client intake, immigration applications and petitions, legal research, motion drafting, case-file maintenance, appointments, outreach, workshops, and community legal trainings. The intern works with refugees, asylees, and asylum-seekers under supervision while developing practical immigration-law experience in a multicultural nonprofit setting.

Designs and delivers instructional content for Switchboard’s online training, self-paced courses, webinars, communities of practice, and learning resources. Provides instructional design guidance, produces webinars and meetings, researches innovative learning practices, maintains existing resources, and promotes continuous improvement. Contributes to needs assessments, evaluates participant feedback, supports monitoring and evaluation reporting, and manages complex projects with strict timelines. The role is remote with up to 20% domestic travel.

Manages pedagogical content quality assurance, testing, troubleshooting, and development for digital and AI-enhanced teacher-support programs. Reviews chatbot outputs and course flows, maintains QA documentation, analyzes engagement signals, develops evidence-based and culturally appropriate educational content, and supports localization, evaluation, knowledge products, and partner briefings across humanitarian education initiatives.
