Provides legal and case-management support to public defense attorneys. Performs payroll and accounting activities, including reviewing and reconciling financial transactions, maintaining general ledger accounts, preparing reports and audit documentation, analyzing variances, supporting grants and budgets, recording adjusting entries, and resolving moderately complex accounting issues. Provides technical guidance on accounting processes and financial systems while ensuring compliance with County policies and applicable regulations.

Analyzes general ledger activity and complex financial data, supports audits and grants, resolves discrepancies, monitors compliance, and recommends improvements to accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting systems. Provides technical guidance to staff and departmental users.
