The Sr. Accounting Analyst analyzes financial activities, prepares reports, conducts audits, and provides financial insights to support decision-making.

Process and post fundraising financial transactions, reconcile and manage gifts, handle credit card and payroll deduction gifts, update donor biographical records, acknowledge donations, perform quality control to maintain database accuracy, and ensure compliance with university, IRS, and campaign policies.

Analyze and monitor financial status for a school/college/hospital, prepare budgets, forecasts, reconciliations, dashboards and reports, support sponsored project financial management, ensure compliance, advise leadership, and train junior staff.

Provide and manage threat and vulnerability management, perform vulnerability scans and remediation, collect and produce threat intelligence, support incident response and digital forensics, maintain security awareness training, and collaborate with SOC/MSSP and cross-functional teams to protect university assets.

Manage and govern one or more IT portfolios, aligning projects to strategic priorities, balancing capacity and demand, budgeting and resource planning, monitoring portfolio health, overseeing program/project managers, managing change control and risk, and reporting portfolio performance to executive leadership.

Designs, deploys, and optimizes AI-driven security workflows and agents (using Microsoft Copilot tools) to automate threat detection, incident response, and alert enrichment. Develops prompts and automations for threat hunting, triage, compliance reporting, creates dashboards (Splunk, Sentinel), maintains runbooks/SOPs, participates in on-call rotations, and collaborates with SOC, engineering, and GRC teams.

Lead and manage enterprise security operations, incident response, SIEM/MDR monitoring, endpoint protection, patch and vulnerability management, threat intelligence, staff supervision, and security controls across the university health system.

Lead and manage IT security for the health system: develop and maintain security/privacy policies, oversee EHR user provisioning and access controls, monitor compliance, audit systems, train and develop staff, and implement operational security improvements.

Perform advanced forensic investigations, incident analysis, and data recovery within a 24/7 SOC. Develop security protocols, conduct audits, train staff, advise asset owners, supervise junior analysts, and recommend security improvements using SIEM and endpoint tools.

Lead IT security for the University Health System by developing security/privacy policies, managing user provisioning and access for EHRs, monitoring controls and audits, training staff, and directing a team to enforce compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
