Design and build test setups, execute DOE-driven experiments, measure optical metrics (power, phase noise, RIN, nonlinearity, beam parameters), run EVT/DVT/PVT verification, perform life testing and failure analysis, generate lab-quality data and engineering reports, and build automated test sequences using Python/LabVIEW/MATLAB to drive product development and production readiness.

Build, align, and maintain free-space and fiber-coupled optical setups to measure and characterize photonic integrated circuits. Develop Python-based automated test infrastructure, acquire data from lasers, OSAs, VNAs, scopes and SMUs, and apply statistical methods to validate designs and ensure repeatable wafer-scale measurements. Document procedures and feed measurement insights back to design and fabrication teams.

The Senior PCB Layout Engineer will manage complex PCB designs, ensuring signal integrity and manufacturability while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include defining routing strategies, conducting design reviews, and generating fabrication documentation, all within a dynamic startup environment.

Lead supplier quality for optics, micro-electronics, fiber optics, and exotic metal components. Perform drawing/GD&T reviews, FAIs, supplier audits, root-cause analyses and CAPA (8D), track quality metrics, support NPI qualification, and drive DFx with internal teams to ensure supplier readiness and production delivery.

Lead a multidisciplinary photonics systems engineering team to define and deliver end-to-end photonics system architectures. Own requirements flowdown, architecture trade studies, risk-reduction experiments, validation plans, customer technical engagement, and cross-functional integration to enable scalable, manufacturable, and reliable production systems.
