Leads WHRO’s newsroom and Virginia Center for Investigative Journalism, overseeing personnel, editorial standards, budgets, strategy, technology, performance metrics, digital growth, fundraising support, and cross-department collaboration. The role manages newsroom operations, develops staff, ensures accurate and ethical multiplatform journalism, builds community relationships, and drives continuous improvement and audience engagement.

Manage CRM systems and digital fundraising tools, ensure data integrity, lead multichannel digital fundraising campaigns, execute segmentation and automation, produce analytics and reports, coordinate cross-team campaign operations, train staff, and drive donor acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
