Lead all accounting operations, ensure GAAP and government-contracting compliance (FAR/CAS/SCA/DCAA), oversee month- and year-end close, prepare financial statements and forecasts, support audits and tax preparation, manage budgeting and variance analysis, maintain internal controls, optimize processes and systems, and coach and develop the accounting team.
