The Director of Business Development sells contract manufacturing services, manages customer relationships, develops sales strategies, and identifies new business opportunities.

Drive sales of Keytronic's contract manufacturing services for assigned territory/accounts. Generate and nurture sales opportunities, perform territory analysis, forecast, provide competitive and market intelligence, manage customer relationships, support marketing and customer site tours, complete reporting and budgets, and travel domestically and internationally (~50%). May supervise staff and support corporate sales/marketing strategies to expand the customer base.

Support product manufacturing to meet customer requirements and cost goals. Implement product changes, model additions, and cost-reduction programs. Provide cross-functional product engineering support, interpret technical drawings, perform testing and measurement, communicate and train technical audiences, and interface with customers and internal teams to improve production efficiency and quality.

Assist with manufacturing engineering tasks, support projects, and learn practical applications in an engineering environment during the internship.

Serve as corporate liaison for production scheduling and order fulfillment. Develop, publish, and maintain global master production schedules, enter and manage customer orders, expedite schedule changes, respond to customer inquiries, and coordinate ECN effectivity with Purchasing, Scheduling, and Production.

Lead development and improvement of automated electrical test systems and software for manufacturing. Create test routines, coordinate NPI, mentor engineers/technicians, manage projects, perform root-cause analysis, ensure test plan compliance, and support production, costing, and automation at a corporate scale.
