Leads GCFA’s financial strategy, stewardship, accounting, treasury, investments, reporting, compliance, and shared services. Advises executives and governance bodies, modernizes financial systems, develops forecasting and dashboard tools, manages fiduciary assets, and communicates financial insights to diverse constituents. The CFO also builds scalable services, strengthens controls and transparency, and drives operational improvement across United Methodist ministries and affiliated organizations.

Coordinates communications and event strategy for the Louisiana Conference, managing timelines, stakeholder collaboration, digital tools, registration systems, HubSpot campaigns, email, website, social media, and promotional graphics. The role also writes event recaps, monitors engagement and registration, resolves risks, and ensures communications align with Conference goals and branding.

Provides comprehensive executive and administrative support to a Bishop and Assistant to the Bishop, including complex scheduling, correspondence, travel, expenses, meetings, events, records, and special projects. Coordinates activities across multiple Annual Conferences, prepares conference materials, maintains confidential information, and builds relationships with clergy, staff, laity, and denominational partners. Requires occasional evening, weekend, and travel commitments.

Lead editorial strategy and content planning across print, digital, email, social media, and video. Manage content calendar, research, write, edit, and proofread communications. Coordinate projects, volunteers, freelancers, and external partners; support Annual Conference and events. Oversee email program, advertising fulfillment, and production of high-quality, mission-focused content aligned with Conference priorities.

Provide strategic leadership and fiduciary oversight for a faith-based foundation; serve as principal ambassador and fundraiser; strengthen relationships with churches, donors, and Conference leaders; oversee operations, budgeting, risk management, and staff culture; advance endowment growth, planned giving, and stakeholder experience while aligning with United Methodist mission and governance.

Lead all financial and administrative operations for the Conference, including budgeting, financial reporting, benefits and pension administration, staff supervision, risk identification, process improvement, property financing support, and stakeholder liaison with boards and pension/benefit authorities. Provide strategic financial guidance, interpret benefits for clergy and staff, manage church statistical data, and support hiring and personnel policy administration.
