Design and develop circuit card assemblies and printed wiring boards from concept through production release. The COMSEC Test Engineer tests and integrates encryption systems for space and terrestrial networks while ensuring operational readiness through configuration, troubleshooting, and functional validation.

Develop test strategies, execute integration and validation, assess cryptographic and information assurance impacts, review ICDs/TRDs, monitor developmental/operational test execution, identify risks, and collaborate with government, FFRDCs, and industry to deliver mission-ready GPS capabilities.

Designs and optimizes aerospace vehicle trajectories and GNC algorithms for launch, re-entry, and intercept missions. Performs simulation, Monte Carlo analysis, sensitivity studies, and flight-test prediction and analysis. Integrates solutions into hardware- and software-in-the-loop environments while collaborating with systems, propulsion, and avionics teams to validate mission requirements and support mission planning.

Develops and runs trajectory simulations and 3-DOF/6-DOF vehicle models for missiles, spacecraft, hypersonic vehicles, and aerospace systems. Models vehicle dynamics, propulsion, aerodynamics, navigation, guidance, and control behavior; validates performance; conducts trade studies; optimizes simulation integration; collaborates on simulation tools; and documents technical analyses. The role requires extensive aerospace modeling experience and an active Secret or higher clearance.

The Systems Engineer supports operations and installation for space launch communications, ensuring functionality through engineering and technical support, maintenance, and coordination with customers and teams.
