Supports HR organization establishment and workforce growth through recruitment, university and engineering college relations, campus hiring, onboarding, payroll coordination, HRIS updates, employee records, benefits and attendance administration, employee communications, engagement initiatives, and employment compliance. The role helps build HR processes and talent pipelines in a fast-growing industrial organization.

Leads air quality permitting strategy and regulatory approvals for DRI, steel manufacturing, mining, and related industrial projects. Manages permit applications, modifications, renewals, emissions inventories, dispersion modeling, compliance activities, audits, and regulatory submissions. Coordinates with engineering, EPC/EPCM contractors, construction, operations, EHS, consultants, and government agencies. Identifies permitting risks, supports environmental studies, tracks commitments and schedules, and ensures requirements are integrated into facility design, construction, commissioning, and operations.

Supports full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offers, and onboarding. Maintains recruiting and employee records, responds to routine HR inquiries, assists with benefits and employee lifecycle processes, supports HR communications and reporting, and contributes to employee engagement and special projects. Works closely with hiring managers and the CHRO while maintaining confidentiality and managing multiple priorities.

Design, review, and support implementation of plant electrical power systems including utility interconnection, substations, transformers, switchgear, protection, and distribution. Perform and validate power system studies, evaluate vendor proposals, support construction, commissioning, FAT/SAT, energization, and ensure compliance with codes and safety standards.

Provide L1/L2 IT support for desktops, servers, networking, and peripherals; administer Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, DNS/DHCP; support ERP (preferably SAP) and business-critical applications; manage endpoint security, patching, backups, and disaster recovery; support plant and remote-site IT operations, vendors, and assets; maintain documentation, SOPs, and drive infrastructure improvements to ensure 24x7 manufacturing uptime.

Lead procurement for a large ironmaking CAPEX project: develop sourcing and contracting strategies, manage RFQs/RFPs, negotiate contracts, procure long-lead equipment and construction packages, oversee supplier qualification and performance, control costs and risks, ensure compliance, and support project stakeholders to deliver on schedule and budget.

Manage sourcing, purchasing, and contract administration for CAPEX equipment, construction, and project materials. Develop procurement strategies, run RFQs/RFPs, negotiate commercial terms, coordinate with engineering and stakeholders, monitor supplier performance, control costs, mitigate risks, and maintain procurement records and compliance to support project schedules and budgets.

Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, project controls, and commissioning for a large Direct Reduced Iron (DRI) capital project. Maintain integrated execution plans, monitor schedule and budget, identify and mitigate risks, facilitate stakeholder collaboration, track action items, support project controls reporting, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance throughout project delivery.

Lead development and management of project reporting processes for the DRI project. Produce dashboards and executive reports, consolidate data from engineering/procurement/construction teams, monitor KPIs (schedule, cost, risks), support leadership meetings, and drive continuous improvement of reporting and data integrity.

Manage assigned engineering and equipment packages through engineering, procurement, fabrication, delivery, construction support, and commissioning. Coordinate vendors, engineering teams, contractors, and stakeholders; monitor schedules, resolve technical and commercial issues, support procurement and FATs, ensure documentation completion, and promote safety and quality compliance.
