Leads all financial operations for a public transit agency, including accounting, budgeting, payroll, cash management, grants, audits, compliance, procurement oversight, insurance, investments, and financial reporting. Advises executive leadership and the Board of Trustees, presents financial trends and risks, manages federal and state funding applications, ensures GASB and FTA compliance, and supervises three finance and procurement staff members.

Volunteer board members advocate for affordable public transportation in Butler County, fulfill legal and organizational governance duties, appoint and oversee officers and employees, and supervise the project coordinator. Directors must represent public, nonprofit, or private transportation-coordination entities with authority over agency resources. The three-year term begins July 1, with quarterly meetings at the Butler County Regional Transit Authority Hamilton Facility.
