Monitors and oversees central payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely pay distribution, records maintenance, personnel actions, deductions, overtime, and salary updates. Reviews payroll documents, resolves issues with accounting, advises managers and employees on payroll policies and union requirements, supervises support staff, handles exceptional pay actions, supports arbitration documentation, and recommends payroll system and process improvements.

Provide litigation counsel for the Chicago Park District across labor, employment, personal injury, contract, FOIA, and workers' compensation matters. Manage all litigation stages, draft legal documents, supervise support staff, advise departments, and represent the District at hearings, mediations, trials, and appeals.
