Leads day-to-day operations, support, and continuous improvement for corporate technology systems serving real estate, finance, accounting, and other teams. Owns issue intake, prioritization, vendor coordination, data quality, reporting, testing, releases, documentation, and stakeholder communications. Supports strategic programs involving AI, automation, analytics, modernization, workflow improvement, pilots, business cases, and executive reporting.

Counsel supporting joint ventures, operating partnerships, strategic investments, M&A, corporate governance, securities reporting, and capital markets activities. Drafts and negotiates agreements, interprets partnership and contractual provisions, supports SEC filings and board matters, conducts legal research and due diligence, and manages outside counsel. Collaborates with Legal, Acquisitions, Tax, Finance, Investor Services, and other business teams while advising on corporate and securities matters.

Leads corporate technology operations and strategic programs supporting real estate, finance, accounting, underwriting, and related business systems. Owns issue intake, prioritization, vendor coordination, SLA tracking, testing, releases, data quality, reporting, user support, and operational documentation. Supports AI, automation, analytics, modernization, and process-improvement initiatives by defining requirements, scopes, timelines, metrics, business cases, and implementation plans. Prepares executive updates and coordinates cross-functional stakeholders.

Plans and executes financial, operational, SOX, and IT general controls audits. Performs risk analysis, data analysis, property site reviews, special examinations, and audit reporting. Supports acquisition due diligence, evaluates internal controls, identifies process improvements, and collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders. Leads audit assignments and presents findings clearly while safeguarding company assets and financial records.

Supports the legal department with litigation intake, docket management, service of process, discovery, subpoenas, regulatory inquiries, investigations, and small claims matters. Coordinates electronically stored information collection and serves as a liaison among outside counsel, internal legal staff, IT, and business units. Maintains legal matter management systems, tracks budgets and outcomes, provides compliance guidance, monitors legislative developments, responds to field inquiries, and assists with legal operations improvements and reporting.

Provide legal counsel on federal, state, and local legislative and regulatory matters affecting Public Storage; develop advocacy and compliance strategies; coordinate with lobbyists, trade associations, and internal stakeholders; translate regulatory changes into business guidance; support acquisitions and multi-jurisdictional compliance planning; build scalable tracking and response processes.

Handle inbound customer calls and emails about tenant insurance coverage, billing, enrollments, policy changes, cancellations, reinstatements, and claims. Educate customers, document interactions, coordinate with insurance partners, maintain policy records, support audits and compliance, and assist with program administration and improvement initiatives.

Administer and monitor Workers' Compensation and General Liability claims throughout the lifecycle; coordinate with carriers, TPAs, brokers, legal, and field teams; maintain RMIS records; prepare and analyze claims reports and trends; support cost containment, compliance, return-to-work, and claim resolution; escalate complex or high-exposure claims.
