The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will develop manufacturing processes, ensure manufacturability, oversee production from prototype to serial production, and improve efficiencies in nuclear reactor assembly.

Own thermal management and mechanical integration for a high-temperature nuclear power conversion system. Responsibilities include thermal budgeting, heat rejection and cold-sink architecture, recuperator sizing, insulation and instrumentation design, thermal interface management, transient analysis, testing, model correlation, component life assessment, and inspection and maintenance planning. Collaborate across mechanical, electrical, safety, and nuclear engineering teams to develop and commission first-of-a-kind hardware.

Own thermal management for a nuclear microreactor Power Conversion System, including heat budgets, heat rejection, cold-sink architecture, recuperator integration, insulation, thermal interfaces, instrumentation, and transient requirements. Perform thermal and thermo-mechanical analysis, correlate models with test data, support hardware testing and commissioning, and develop inspection and maintenance plans for life-limited components. Collaborate across mechanical, electrical, safety, nuclear, materials, and structural engineering teams.

Lead administration and evolution of the Siemens NX CAD ecosystem: develop standards, automation, Check‑Mate rules, manage large assemblies, reusable libraries, produce manufacturing-ready drawings, enforce best practices, support PDM workflows, and partner with engineers on mechanical parts and complex assemblies for a nuclear microreactor.

Provide hands-on IT support and systems administration across endpoints, identity, network infrastructure, collaboration tools, cloud services, and internal apps. Maintain security, compliance, imaging/patching, monitoring, and documentation to support engineering, manufacturing, and business teams in a regulated, government-facing environment.

Designs, analyzes, tests, and qualifies safety-significant reactor structures, including core restraints, control drum supports, and heat exchanger vessel supports. Performs thermal, mechanical, and structural analyses; defines architectures, margins, and operating limits; creates engineering documentation; leads testing and validation; and collaborates with manufacturing, licensing, procurement, and suppliers through hardware deployment.

Develop and maintain real-time embedded firmware for microcontrollers and instrumentation used in microreactor control. Implement device drivers and communication protocols, support hardware bring-up and debugging, create test plans and verification, collaborate across electrical, controls, systems, and safety teams, and implement fault detection and safe-state logic for qualification and deployment.

Lead Antares' international business development for microreactors: identify markets, build pipelines, develop market-entry and regulatory strategies, cultivate government and commercial partnerships, support negotiations and deal closure, and coordinate cross-functional teams on financing, regulatory, and commercial execution.

The Manufacturing Engineer will develop manufacturing processes for nuclear reactor sub-systems, focusing on parts manufacturability, process qualifications, and collaboration across teams for design improvements.

Design and release mechanical hardware for reactor electronic systems including enclosures, racks, mounts, and cable management. Create 3D CAD models, drawings, BOMs, and PDM data. Perform structural, thermal, and environmental calculations/analyses. Collaborate with electrical, controls, manufacturing, and test teams; support prototyping, verification, supplier engagement, fabrication, deployment, and production issue resolution.
