Perform on-site financial examinations of insurance companies, verifying accounting records, controls, and regulatory compliance (SSAP). Analyze financial statements, interview company officials, prepare accurate workpapers, identify solvency or compliance issues, and evaluate internal controls including SOX requirements.

Perform economic and policy evaluations, build econometric models and forecasts, conduct market, spatial, industry and supply-chain analysis, design data collection and metrics, create visualizations and maps, prepare agency reports and revenue forecasts, and respond to research requests from staff and external partners.

Lead and manage a procurement unit: supervise procurement officers, oversee RFP/RFQ processes, review contracts and solicitations, coordinate with legal and stakeholders, ensure compliance, and develop procurement procedures and training to support statewide DHHS operations.

Provide legal counsel to the Nebraska DMV: draft findings and agency rules, ensure federal and state compliance, review contracts and data audits, handle administrative hearings and public records, advise on HR matters, research legal issues, and support Agency Legal Counsel and divisions on hearings, subpoenas, and appeals.
