The role requires strong commercial general liability experience, knowledge of multi-state education institution claims, adjuster licensing, and advanced understanding of applicable laws and claims practices.

Provides strategic underwriting expertise to improve regional profitability, portfolio performance, risk selection, and profitable growth. Analyzes business trends, financial results, and loss experience; advises on complex commercial property and casualty risks; supports underwriting strategy, product initiatives, training, and enterprise projects; and partners with underwriting, product, claims, actuarial, and operational teams to drive consistency, transformation, and continuous improvement.

Partners with business and IT stakeholders to identify needs, elicit and document requirements, analyze processes, recommend technology solutions, and support projects. Manages moderate-complexity project activities, timelines, risks, and status reporting. Supports policy-processing changes, product development, ServiceNow and help desk requirements, workflow tracking, and process improvements. Provides guidance and mentoring to teammates while ensuring issues are resolved and statutory deadlines are met.

Reviews premium audits prepared by staff and vendors, compares policy and prior-year information, researches state and company manual rules, resolves audit questions and disputes, communicates with agents and customers, and creates accurate audit statements in automated systems.

Serves as a virtual sales consultant and territory manager for independent insurance agencies. Builds territory sales plans, conducts discovery-based virtual sales calls, identifies growth opportunities, manages agency commitments, evaluates competitors, recommends insurance solutions, and uses CRM, quoting, analytics, and Power BI tools to monitor performance and drive profitable sales, retention, and market share.

Leads the inside sales organization by driving premium growth, profitability, retention, and agency engagement. Develops sales strategies, targets, forecasts, and accountability processes; coaches and develops the sales team; oversees agency segmentation and territory strategy; uses CRM, TalkDesk, and analytics to improve performance; partners with underwriting, regional sales, and marketing; and advances virtual sales processes through operational improvements and market intelligence.
