Lead multi-discipline MEP design teams, manage client relationships, plan and execute engineering projects, control budgets and hours, coordinate site visits and contractor queries, run internal meetings, and support business development activities.

Lead and manage an electrical engineering team designing building electrical systems (healthcare, higher education, commercial, government). Produce designs, calculations, specifications, code research, existing building surveys, QA/QC, construction administration, client contact, and support business development. Work uses Revit and AutoCAD.

Design and assemble electrical control systems and control panels (<480V) for packaging machinery. Specify/configure Allen-Bradley hardware, PLC networks to remote I/O, pneumatic components, and field instruments. Produce drawings in AutoCAD Electrical, ensure NEC and UL compliance, support commissioning and debugging, and coordinate suppliers and contractors. Occasional travel (~<25%).

Assist senior engineers in designing, testing, and documenting electrical circuits and systems using CAD tools. Support schematics, wiring diagrams, prototype validation, troubleshooting, and component selection while collaborating with cross-functional teams and supporting manufacturing and assembly activities.

Performs simple, routine electrical engineering tasks for building projects including power distribution, standby generation, lighting design and controls, UPS, telecom, security, fire alarm, and site field documentation. Works under mentor direction, performs self QC, meets with clients, and uses Revit and lighting software to prepare plans, designs, and calculations.

Perform mechanical design from project start through construction administration for average-complexity projects. Apply codes, produce HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection designs, coordinate cross-discipline work, perform QC and peer review, handle RFIs/submittals/site visits, and develop record drawings.

Lead technical electrical engineering for Fed-Florida projects including lighting, medium-voltage distribution, fire/life safety, arc flash studies, controls, telecom/data, and construction administration. Oversee design quality, mentor staff, perform permitting and assessments, act as Engineer of Record when assigned, and support business development and operational initiatives.

The Electrical Engineer will lead projects and design electrical systems for various sectors, ensuring compliance with codes and providing mentorship to junior engineers.
