Design and assemble electrical control systems and control panels (<480V) for packaging machinery. Specify/configure Allen-Bradley hardware, PLC networks to remote I/O, pneumatic components, and field instruments. Produce drawings in AutoCAD Electrical, ensure NEC and UL compliance, support commissioning and debugging, and coordinate suppliers and contractors. Occasional travel (~<25%).

Design electrical building systems for a net-zero corporate headquarters: develop calculations, equipment selection, specifications, construction documents, coordinate with architects and consultants, apply codes, and provide construction administration. Work includes power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, data/communications, and emergency power systems.

Manage project schedule, budget, scope, and teams for commercial and institutional AEC feasibility and design projects. Plan activities, develop proposals, track deliverables and risks, ensure quality control, coordinate cross-discipline work, and support project closeout and business development.

Performs routine electrical engineering tasks under mentor direction, including power distribution, standby generation, lighting and controls, UPS, telecommunications, security, fire alarm, and field documentation. Prepares designs and calculations, seeks code references, conducts self-QC, meets clients, and performs site fieldwork.

Design and manage electrical building power systems as a licensed PE. Perform calculations, apply codes, lead engineering staff, manage projects, support business development and client relationships, and assist marketing and scheduling activities.

The Electrical Designer will perform electrical calculations, design systems, input data into Revit, coordinate with other trades, and conduct site visits.

Design and deliver industrial electrical projects from proposal through construction drawings.
