Mechanical Engineering Intern supporting HVAC and plumbing design through AutoCAD or Revit drafting, Bluebeam markups, engineering calculations, code and standards review, cost estimating, equipment evaluations, specifications, and technical report preparation. The role is part-time in Merritt Island, Florida, with potential for additional summer hours.

Reviews, drafts, negotiates, and administers high-volume commercial contracts and related agreements. Identifies risks, coordinates reviews, maintains templates and contract records, tracks obligations and renewals, and supports procurement, finance, project, and business teams throughout the contract lifecycle. The role also develops contract management systems, workflows, approval processes, reporting, and document retention practices while ensuring compliance with company policies and contractual requirements.

Constructs, modifies, and repairs precision tooling, gages, jigs, fixtures, dies, and components using conventional and CNC machines. Interprets engineering drawings and technical instructions, performs complex setups and machining operations, verifies tolerances with precision instruments, writes or edits CNC programs, maintains equipment and records, and follows safety, security, DOE, and site requirements.

Perform mechanical and plumbing design and field support across facility and aerospace projects: sizing calculations, design sketches/drawings, condition assessments, cost estimating, construction support, and technical reporting while working with multidisciplinary teams and learning codes and standards.

Leads complex mechanical engineering projects for industrial power and process facilities, including utility generation and distribution systems. Performs high-complexity design, analysis, calculations, research, equipment selection, and PFD/P&ID development. Manages project schedules, budgets, quality, client expectations, construction administration, and multidisciplinary coordination. Supervises and mentors engineering staff, supports proposals and business development, develops client relationships, and identifies new opportunities.

Provides administrative and project coordination support for a designated region and three to six billable experts. Responsibilities include distributing workloads, assigning projects, coordinating inspections and travel, managing budgets and outside services, routing deliverables through review, transmitting reports to clients, maintaining project records and compliance, invoicing, and updating ERP and client-specific systems. The role is hybrid after an initial 90-day fully in-office period in Flower Mound, Texas.

Supports the design and development of electrical circuits, systems, schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts. Performs basic calculations, testing, validation, troubleshooting, and technical documentation. Collaborates with senior engineers, project managers, and cross-functional teams, assists with component selection, and supports manufacturing and assembly activities while developing practical electrical engineering skills.

Design and engineer HVAC and mechanical systems for data centers, commercial, telecom, and education projects. Perform load/energy calculations, existing facility surveys, equipment selection, code compliance, specifications, detailed design documents, QA/QC, construction administration, and cross-discipline coordination.

Design electrical systems (lighting, power, fire alarm, telecom, security) for institutional projects; produce construction documents in Revit; perform calculations and QA/QC; lead project teams, coordinate with architects/owners and other disciplines; ensure code compliance and mentor junior engineers.
