Design, develop, and maintain hydraulic systems and schematics for heavy-manufacturing products. Select hydraulic components, apply DFMA and value engineering, support production and field service, perform troubleshooting, participate in design reviews/HAZOPs, and ensure compliance with standards. Provide supplier oversight, test engineering support, and occasional travel (up to 15%).

Design, implement, and integrate electrical and software control systems for utility equipment. Develop and test real-time control software, troubleshoot and debug systems, support new product development and maintenance, and collaborate across teams to deliver safe, reliable solutions.

Provide Tier I technical support for Soft-Pak customers: troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues, assist with installation/configuration of Soft-Pak and third-party tools, manage password changes, document standard tasks, and learn basic IBM iSeries support. Maintain departmental procedures and strong customer communication.

Serve as engineering floor support between Design and Production for custom vehicle builds: interpret drawings/models/BOMs, identify and resolve build discrepancies, update BOMs, perform fit and interference checks, assist troubleshooting (electrical/hydraulic/mechanical), train production staff, and support quality and continuous improvement on the production floor.

Manage product backlog, gather feature requests, document requirements, create user stories and acceptance criteria, coordinate releases with DevOps and Scrum teams, collaborate with QA and PMs, and report status to leadership.

Develop and implement vehicle control architecture and real-time control systems for industrial mobile equipment using ROS2 and embedded controllers. Implement ros2_control interfaces, firmware/drivers for CAN-FD/I2C/SPI/UART/RS485, design and tune closed-loop controllers (PID/MPC/LQR), integrate sensors for state estimation, and model/control electro-hydraulic systems.

Design, analyze, test, and validate hydraulic systems and components for heavy machinery and automotive applications. Create CAD models and technical documentation, perform simulations, support prototyping and failure analysis, and collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing teams to ensure compliance with standards and safe installation.

Support plant-floor OT and MES systems by troubleshooting PLCs, HMIs, industrial networks, and device connectivity. Assist with implementation, configuration, data collection, and small projects to improve uptime, traceability, and production visibility. Create documentation, analyze process data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement.
