Support creation of a university-wide research impact database by identifying and documenting Penn State research projects, mapping outcomes to funding and downstream impacts, structuring data for a relational database, collaborating with faculty and units, and producing narratives and reports to communicate long-term research ROI.

Prepare technical reports, schematics, SOPs, and validation plans. On-site in State College, PA, with background check, drug screen, and ability to obtain government security clearance required.

Undergraduate intern supporting Engineering Technologists in designing and building electrical, mechanical, and software test tools. Duties include CAD development, documenting systems, assisting with circuit design and hardware construction, and using MATLAB and LabVIEW to support electromechanical testing. Onsite full-time during summer in State College, PA, with potential extension.

Provide audio and video recording engineering and production support for School of Music sessions. Oversee technical and aesthetic aspects of recordings, ensure track quality for mixing, and collaborate with producers and artists to select takes and mixes.

Undergraduate intern supporting sonar R&D: assist with piezoelectric material processing, transducer characterization/production/procurement, modeling and fabrication, and acoustic testing including data analysis and display. Work up to 20 hours/week during semesters and 40 hours/week in summer at ARL Freeport facility.

Part-time student support role for the Penn State Marching Blue Band providing uniform and equipment management and administrative support. Must work home football game days and other scheduled times, with potential travel. Students limited to 20 hours/week. Employment contingent on successful background check.
