Responsibilities include process validation, capability studies, SPC frameworks, risk management, FMEA, control plans, supplier qualification, mechanical and metallurgical testing, nonconformance disposition, and continuous improvement. The role partners across R&D, manufacturing, operations, suppliers, and customers while ensuring compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, GMP, and FDA QSR requirements. It also provides technical leadership and mentorship to quality engineers.

Investigate non-conformances, material defects, and process variances in metal additive manufacturing and post-processing. Conduct physical, optical, mechanical, and metallurgical failure analysis; lead containment and quarantine actions; document non-conformance records; coordinate laboratory testing; perform 8D root-cause investigations; review machine logs, material records, and device history records; support MRB activities; and track defect trends, Pareto data, and yield metrics.

Own full lifecycle recruiting for a high-priority advanced technology initiative, hiring across engineering, manufacturing, operations, and leadership. Develop sourcing strategies, use LinkedIn Recruiter and competitive mapping to engage passive candidates, advise executive leaders on talent markets and headcount planning, calibrate interviews, and partner with HR, Legal, and Finance on offers. The role requires adaptability in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and may involve occasional collaboration near Devens, Massachusetts.

Support investor communications, reporting, and relationship management by drafting investor updates, board materials, and talking points; manage investor requests and trackers; prepare investor-facing narratives, support conferences/events, and assist corporate development in fundraising.

Plan and expedite materials for prototype and pre-production NPI builds. Track vendor commitments, identify and mitigate shortages and long-lead risks, maintain build schedules and trackers, coordinate logistics, and communicate status and risks to engineering and program leadership.

Support capital raises, investor diligence, and strategic initiatives. Manage data rooms and diligence workflows, build and audit financial models and scenario analyses, prepare investor materials, coordinate cross-functional diligence, and evaluate M&A targets while helping establish a formal Corporate Development function.

The Cost Accounting Lead will manage and improve cost accounting processes, analyze costs, develop budgets, and report financial insights for decision-making.
