Translate customer and network requirements into product-level system architectures for phased-array ground stations. Define RF and system parameters, run simulations and link budgets, partner with business development, and align engineering on execution-ready product definitions and roadmaps.

Design, build, and characterize RF electronics (LNAs, filters, PAs). Create electromagnetic simulation models, collaborate across disciplines, and iterate hardware for reliability, performance, and manufacturability. Troubleshoot integrated RF system performance.

Design and develop mechanical structures, mechanisms, tooling, fixtures, and RF feed/waveguide components for satellite ground stations. Collaborate with RF, electrical, and manufacturing teams to ensure manufacturability, reliability, and regulatory compliance, participate in design reviews, and support transition from concept to production.

Support development, verification, and measurement of RF and antenna systems for space-to-ground communications. Perform antenna measurements, analyze RF metrics (G/T, EIRP, link margin), build Python/MATLAB analysis tools, assist integration/troubleshooting, operate RF test equipment, support beamforming evaluation, and help transition prototypes to production while documenting procedures and results.

Develop, test, and operate ground-station software that ingests modem data, implements CCSDS protocols, processes telemetry/command frames, and routes mission data. Build high-performance pipelines, debugging and tooling, collaborate with DSP/FPGA teams, run hardware-in-the-loop and live testing, and own deployment and operational support.

Develop and optimize manufacturing processes and tooling for precision RF antenna systems. Translate designs to production, drive DFM, lead root-cause analysis and continuous improvement, create work instructions, support RF/thermal testing, and evaluate equipment and make-vs-buy decisions to scale manufacturing.
