Design and deliver FPGA-based networking and DSP blocks for phased-array ground stations. Lead projects from prototype to production, develop resilient system architectures, debug field deployments, and optimize hardware-software integration for high-throughput, real-time satellite communications.

Own integrated delivery visibility and risk across Digital products (modems, beamforming, telemetry, scheduling, ground-station software). Maintain execution plans, dependency maps, schedules, and tooling. Surface and resolve cross-team integration risks, coordinate testing across environments, partner with mission management/customers, and drive improvements to velocity, reliability, and deployment readiness.

Lead electrical design for high-speed mixed-signal digital communication systems, including schematic capture, multilayer PCB layout, prototype bring-up, lab and field testing, EMI/EMC troubleshooting, and working with production to ensure manufacturable, testable products. Collaborate with RF, antenna, FPGA, firmware, and production teams to optimize system architecture, signal/power integrity, and performance.

Lead cross-functional efforts to secure in-country licensing, regulatory approvals, and partnerships for global deployment of ground station infrastructure. Engage regulators and policymakers, assess regulatory and geopolitical risks, manage compliance submissions, and align engineering and business teams to execute market entry strategies and timelines.

Build and maintain detailed bottom-up cost models (BOMs, manufacturing, deployment) for ground station hardware and network-level costs. Partner with engineering, supply chain, and operations to identify cost drivers, evaluate design and sourcing tradeoffs, support deployment planning, track actuals versus models, and present cost risks and opportunities to leadership.

Lead customer missions from onboarding through integration, launch readiness, and operational support. Build and manage program plans, coordinate cross-functional teams, track technical integration, surface and mitigate risks, improve onboarding and support processes, capture customer feedback, and support expansion and renewals while ensuring mission reliability and service quality.

Provide first-line IT support for internal users across Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues; manage IT asset lifecycle, provisioning and offboarding; enforce security policies (encryption, MFA, access control); administer MDM and identity systems.

Lead and execute Northwood's software roadmap across backend, infrastructure, networking, and embedded/low-level systems. Own architecture and technical direction, deliver cross-functional mission-critical projects, build CI/CD and operational foundations, ensure scalability, reliability, security and observability, and hire, mentor, and grow the software team while remaining hands-on.

Own contracting and pricing strategy across U.S. government, international government, and commercial customers. Structure and negotiate complex agreements and pricing, partner with business development, legal, finance, and leadership on deal strategies, shape acquisition approaches early, support proposals and capture efforts, and build playbooks, templates, and negotiation frameworks for recurring scenarios.
