Lead application and platform modernization by deconstructing monoliths into container-based services on GCP. Drive Python and PHP development, implement OpenSSL secure communications, expand metrics and logging (Chronosphere/Prometheus/Grafana, Splunk), manage OS/package migrations, ensure testing discipline, mentor engineers, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver features and troubleshoot distributed systems.

Analyze mobile and web user journeys to identify friction, feature adoption, and performance issues. Responsible for hands-on OS modernization (RHEL7 -> EL8/EL9), RPM packaging and packaging migrations (Chef -> CINC), CI/CD hardening, automation of runbooks, Tier-2 incident response, service onboarding to observability stacks (Prometheus/Grafana/Chronosphere/Splunk), and end-to-end bug ownership and documentation. Works closely with SREs and stakeholders through design, rollout, and rollback of large-fleet changes.

Build and maintain Python-first automation and tooling for hyperscale data center, backbone, and out-of-band networks. Operate multi-vendor routing/switching (BGP, IS-IS/OSPF, EVPN/VXLAN, MPLS), implement telemetry and observability (gNMI/OpenConfig, SNMP, flow), codify config-as-code (Jinja2, NETCONF/YANG, REST APIs), carry production on-call, lead incident response and RCA, and support site turn-ups, capacity expansion, and secure change governance.

Design, build, test, and deploy full-stack features across a React frontend, Node.js REST API, and PostgreSQL. Manage GCP infrastructure, Terraform IaC, Docker containers, and CI/CD pipelines. Implement integration and E2E testing, translate Figma designs to responsive UI, and produce technical documentation and API contracts.

Design, implement, and operate hybrid on-prem to Google Cloud network architectures. Troubleshoot routing, DNS, and load balancing; build and manage infrastructure with Terraform; design secure network segmentation and firewall policies; automate provisioning and monitoring to improve reliability.
