Support RFQs, audits, warranty projects, and periodic travel to customer/supplier sites.

Lead mechanical engineering design, analysis, and qualification for valves, actuators, and flow control devices used in advanced and existing nuclear power plants. Perform structural/stress, thermal, and seismic/dynamic analyses, develop technical solutions, advise on materials, create industry-standard reports, and collaborate across teams and with customers to improve and qualify products.

Lead design, development, integration, and testing of real-time embedded computing software for defense products. Drive architecture decisions, debug complex defects, implement bootloaders and device drivers, collaborate with hardware and systems teams, produce design/test documentation, and support customer issue resolution for DoD-secured systems.

Lead a drafting team to create and review complex 2D and 3D CAD drawings for power plant designs (including SMRs and nuclear), develop drafting standards, coordinate with engineers on models and ECN/ECRs, perform hands-on drafting, manage files, and provide guidance to junior staff.
