Paid, full-time January–June 2027 internship reporting on science and science policy for Nature’s website and print magazine. Interns cover cutting-edge research and US science agencies, write news and occasional features, attend local story-related events, and may eventually pitch original stories. Candidates need a relevant university degree, strong writing and reporting samples, deadline-management ability, and preferably a background in science or science journalism.

Manage and strategically develop a portfolio of open access life sciences journals, particularly in Plant Sciences. Responsibilities include setting publication and submission targets, improving author and editor engagement, resolving publishing issues, analyzing data, managing contracts and forecasts, supporting business development, and maintaining relationships with researchers, societies, and editorial stakeholders.

The Solution Sales Specialist will drive revenue by selling workflow solutions to research organizations, managing stakeholder relationships, generating new sales, and demonstrating product value to meet customer needs.
