As a Teleoperation Intern, you will develop immersive interfaces, optimize data pipelines, build front-end systems for AR devices, and ensure reliability of the humanoid robot fleet.

Design, implement, and tune real-time teleoperation motion control systems (impedance, admittance, MPC) that translate operator intent into safe, low-latency robot motion. Build force estimation and kinodynamic retargeting pipelines, validate and calibrate controllers on hardware, and ensure compliant contact-rich manipulation with strong software engineering practices.

Work with a mentor to develop simulation environments, design robot behaviors, deploy and log on hardware, implement algorithms for modeling/training/sensing, and characterize sensors and actuators for Persona's humanoid robots.

Design and implement advanced dexterous manipulation algorithms for high-DOF humanoid robots, integrate perception-to-control pipelines, develop digital twins in simulation, perform rigorous sim-to-real testing, and collaborate with ML teams to train and deploy models for complex manipulation tasks.
