Perform independent audits of construction, maintenance, and consultant payments; review invoices, change orders, and reimbursable costs for compliance with City Charter, PPB Rules, Comptroller directives and GAAP. Conduct desk and field verifications, supervise subordinate auditors, assist in approving contract change requests, and recommend appropriate deductions for noncompliance.

Must remain a NY State Bar member in good standing.

Lead end-to-end design for resident-facing NYC products: conduct user research, prototype and test, design interfaces and content, ensure accessibility, build shared design system patterns, collaborate with PMs, engineers, policy and legal, and mentor the design team to ship products at scale.

Supervise and direct operation and maintenance of DEP marine vessels and Marine Section technical staff; maintain engine room logs and records; ensure compliance with federal and departmental regulations for mechanical/engine equipment and vessel operations; manage fuel storage/use and safety program; ensure required credentials, medical clearance, and drug testing are maintained.

Coordinate and manage training programs (Apprentice Construction Laborer, EHS, CDL, COF, Grade D), track certifications, support recruitment/onboarding, administer workforce development events, liaise with Fleet and vendors, and handle procurement, inventory, purchase orders, and compliance documentation for field operations.

Supervise the DOHMH Intake unit within Licensing: review and process DOHMH license applications, manage daily operations, train and supervise staff, develop policies and procedures, perform data entry and quality assurance, assist applicants and interagency communication, handle payments and correspondence, and back up other units as needed.

Provide senior administrative support to the executive team: manage calendars, coordinate communications, prepare materials and presentations, arrange travel, handle mail and reception coverage, support special projects, and perform Employee Engagement administrative duties.

Supervise and oversee staff of the Civilian Development Unit and develop, implement, and monitor training courses for civilian and uniformed members. Design procedural manuals, create statistical reports, evaluate training effectiveness, represent the unit in high-level meetings, and serve as an instructor as needed.
