Coordinates community service programs and initiatives for shelter operations. Responsibilities include preparing evaluation reports, policies, procedures, and workflows; researching program needs; recommending improvements; analyzing operational data; facilitating interagency meetings; and responding to information requests.

Performs clerical and administrative support for NYC DEP’s environmental compliance programs. Duties include printing and organizing summonses by hearing date, assembling Department of State summons packages, processing certified and regular mail, and updating database and computer records. The role requires customer service and administrative experience, computer proficiency, Microsoft Office skills, and keyboarding ability of at least 100 keystrokes per minute.

Coordinates full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, candidate communications, job offers, onboarding, and pre-employment documentation. Processes hires, transfers, promotions, civil service appointments, and personnel transactions in compliance with NYC and DCAS requirements. Maintains recruitment and personnel data in NYCAPS, generates reports, supports employees with NYCAPS/ESS, manages appointment lists and hiring pools, and represents the agency at recruitment events.

Supports creative communications and public engagement initiatives for transportation projects. Develops print, digital, and interactive collateral; translates technical information into accessible visual content; maintains templates, visual systems, internal tools, and reporting materials; and documents field outreach through photography and short-form video. Collaborates with project managers and leadership, researches engagement trends, prototypes outreach tools, and manages multiple projects.

Conduct confidential investigations into employee discrimination and harassment complaints, perform EEO legal research, interview involved parties, collect documentary and statistical evidence, prepare investigative plans and reports, recommend resolutions and penalties, and advise on EEO legal matters. Occasional site visits to Department of Correction facilities may be required.

Coordinates front-end planning for NYC capital infrastructure projects involving DEP and DOT facilities. Reviews designs, develops scopes, cost estimates, and schedules; assesses feasibility, constructability, resiliency, environmental, and regulatory issues; conducts site visits; prepares reports and presentations; leads meetings and workshops; coordinates agencies, consultants, and community stakeholders; and updates project tracking databases.

Directs compliance activities for New York City contractors and ICAP entities under Executive Orders 50 and 94 and Local Law 67. Finalizes compliance determinations, oversees audits, analyzes employment reports, manages staff, coordinates technology updates, develops training and outreach, and communicates with agencies, vendors, legal teams, regulators, and other stakeholders regarding EEO, labor, M/WBE, and related compliance requirements.

Performs green infrastructure engineering inspections, porous pavement asset testing, contract plan and geotechnical report reviews, construction oversight, compliance enforcement, and maintenance audits. Conducts desktop and site assessments using AutoCAD and ArcGIS, reviews as-built documents, coordinates with project managers and maintenance operators, and prepares inspection and testing reports. Ensures project quality, safety, workmanship, progress, and compliance with contract documents, NYC standards, codes, and DEP sewer use regulations.

Coordinates state and federal grant portfolios and city operating budgets for transportation planning subdivisions. Develops grant proposals, updates project schedules, coordinates budget requests, monitors project progress, maintains budget tracking tools, supports year-end grant roll exercises and accruals, prepares annual grant expense budgets, and produces quarterly claims and progress reports. The role requires extensive coordination with project managers, TPM units, and agency budget and grants offices.

Leads the design of capital roadway, sewer, and water main projects; supervises 4–6 engineers and technicians; reviews plans, estimates, specifications, consultant deliverables, reports, and contracts; coordinates utilities and interagency stakeholders; prepares CPM schedules and project documents; supports construction; and assists with consultant task orders and selection committees.
