Performs clerical and administrative support for NYC DEP’s environmental compliance programs. Duties include printing and organizing summonses by hearing date, assembling Department of State summons packages, processing certified and regular mail, and updating database and computer records. The role requires customer service and administrative experience, computer proficiency, Microsoft Office skills, and keyboarding ability of at least 100 keystrokes per minute.

Coordinates full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, candidate communications, job offers, onboarding, and pre-employment documentation. Processes hires, transfers, promotions, civil service appointments, and personnel transactions in compliance with NYC and DCAS requirements. Maintains recruitment and personnel data in NYCAPS, generates reports, supports employees with NYCAPS/ESS, manages appointment lists and hiring pools, and represents the agency at recruitment events.

Coordinates front-end planning for NYC capital infrastructure projects involving DEP and DOT facilities. Reviews designs, develops scopes, cost estimates, and schedules; assesses feasibility, constructability, resiliency, environmental, and regulatory issues; conducts site visits; prepares reports and presentations; leads meetings and workshops; coordinates agencies, consultants, and community stakeholders; and updates project tracking databases.

Performs green infrastructure engineering inspections, porous pavement asset testing, contract plan and geotechnical report reviews, construction oversight, compliance enforcement, and maintenance audits. Conducts desktop and site assessments using AutoCAD and ArcGIS, reviews as-built documents, coordinates with project managers and maintenance operators, and prepares inspection and testing reports. Ensures project quality, safety, workmanship, progress, and compliance with contract documents, NYC standards, codes, and DEP sewer use regulations.

Leads the design of capital roadway, sewer, and water main projects; supervises 4–6 engineers and technicians; reviews plans, estimates, specifications, consultant deliverables, reports, and contracts; coordinates utilities and interagency stakeholders; prepares CPM schedules and project documents; supports construction; and assists with consultant task orders and selection committees.

Analyzes capital funding proposals, supports capital plan and commitment submissions, coordinates project approvals, tracks delivery and performance, and prepares reports and forecasts. The role manages large datasets, spreadsheets, presentations, mapping, and AIMS reporting while coordinating with OMB, DOT divisions, city agencies, and senior management on capital priorities and program development.

Directs a Motivational Interviewing coaching and training program for preventive service staff and supervisors. Supervises coaches, oversees program operations and deliverables, develops improvement strategies, coordinates with ACS leadership and stakeholders, monitors implementation across provider agencies, prepares reports, supports learning-culture adoption, and participates in public speaking, professional development, and special projects.

Provides senior legal, policy, strategic, and operational guidance on criminal justice initiatives for New York City. Evaluates legislation and legal risks, analyzes criminal justice and crime data, develops and executes policy projects, coordinates with justice agencies and stakeholders, and supports complex, politically sensitive programs aligned with Administration priorities.

Reports verbatim testimony during confidential grand jury proceedings using a stenographic machine, transcribes testimony and audio files for attorneys, maintains accurate case records, and testifies in court regarding transcript accuracy when required. The role requires two-voice dictation proficiency at 175 words per minute and rapid, accurate transcription.

Provides legal counsel to agency programs and affiliated nonprofits on regulatory, employment, procurement, contracts, privacy, records access, legislation, M/WBE appeals, conflicts of interest, administrative hearings, litigation support, audits, and nonprofit governance. Reviews and negotiates agreements, conducts legal research, drafts policies and opinions, advises on compliance, and supports the General Counsel and Deputy General Counsel on agency legal matters.
