Leads agency-wide timekeeping operations, supervising timekeeping, PATS, and CityTime administration units. Ensures payroll accuracy, financial integrity, regulatory and labor-agreement compliance, internal controls, reconciliations, audits, and timely discrepancy resolution. Analyzes payroll and attendance data, develops reports and process improvements, oversees leave and pay-status changes, collaborates with HR and Labor Relations, and provides staff training, coaching, and performance management.

Supports the planning, design, analysis, and implementation of bicycle, greenway, complete-street, and multimodal transportation projects across New York City. Conducts traffic operations, safety, and before-and-after analyses using Synchro, AutoCAD, GIS, and field observations. Prepares technical reports, presentations, design drawings, outreach materials, and stakeholder correspondence while coordinating with DOT units, agencies, community groups, elected officials, and other partners.

Design and develop construction-ready bicycle and micromobility infrastructure plans across New York City. Create AutoCAD drawings, develop and review Synchro traffic models, conduct site visits, quality-check junior and consultant work, coordinate with DOT divisions, manage concurrent projects, prepare community presentations, ensure compliance with AASHTO, MUTCD, and NYC DOT standards, and mentor junior staff.

Assess applications for cloud migration and modernization, including architecture, dependencies, data flows, security, and operational constraints. Define migration requirements, build CI/CD pipelines, modernize .NET and Java applications, implement monitoring and observability, coordinate migration activities, and guide teams on cloud deployment, containers, pipelines, and issue resolution.

Provides complex legal counsel to New York City social services agencies on welfare reform, benefits, childcare, regulations, legislation, and agency policy. Drafts legal opinions, memoranda, policies, legislation, regulations, waiver requests, and briefing materials; reviews legal and policy documents; advises executive leadership; supervises staff; assists with office management; and trains personnel in legal research, writing, and public speaking.

Provides administrative and legislative support to the Mayor’s Office of State Legislative Affairs. Responsibilities include scheduling meetings, entering data into databases and Excel, reviewing and tracking legislation, coordinating communications among elected officials, agencies, and the Administration, responding to requests, and preparing for meetings.

Directs shelter intake social services programs, overseeing case management, housing placement, staff supervision, compliance, training, referrals, case reviews, and coordination with contracted providers and city agencies. Ensures efficient permanent placements, implements program initiatives, monitors client responsibility and staff performance, and chairs recurring social services meetings. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Represents New York City, its agencies, and employees in civil tort litigation. Responsibilities include conducting hearings and depositions, drafting pleadings and motions, managing discovery, appearing at conferences and oral arguments, preparing cases for trial, interviewing witnesses, developing trial strategy, and negotiating settlements.

The Legislative Representative builds relationships between the Mayor’s Administration and New York State Legislature. The role supports public policy analysis, legislative strategy, lobbying, and advancing the Administration’s agenda through state legislation and the budget process. Candidates need knowledge of New York State legislative processes and relevant government, agency, liaison, or policy experience.
