Maintains investment statements, prepares and reconciles financial reports, performs accounts payable and audit procedures, enters journal entries, monitors cash balances, investigates variances, presents financial information, and supports policy development and special accounting projects.

Conduct statistical analysis and develop reproducible code to inform transportation policy. Manage data pipelines, data quality, governance, documentation, dictionaries, databases, and legacy-to-cloud systems. Lead complex data projects, respond to analytical requests, present findings to senior leaders and external stakeholders, collaborate across technical and non-technical teams, and mentor colleagues. Projects address congestion, fares, driver pay, vehicle electrification, and charging infrastructure.

Conduct employment compliance investigations, background checks, and disciplinary hearings for non-uniformed employees. Prepare investigation reports, memorandums, closing documents, and disciplinary determinations; manage confidential discovery, correspondence, scheduling, tracking systems, and compliance records. Support PREA and residency requirement compliance, financial disclosure coordination, onboarding reviews, and HR Compliance Unit administrative functions.

Identifies, assesses, documents, and monitors organizational, operational, compliance, technical, vendor, product, and data risks. Partners with business leaders and the CISO to translate technical risks into business impacts, maintain risk and KPI dashboards, develop policies, support stress testing and contingency planning, and advise on cloud transformation and AI-related risks. The role also contributes to risk frameworks, automation, reporting, and policy implementation.

Tracks, monitors, analyzes, and reports mandated DOC training completion requirements. Identifies training gaps, prepares completion charts, and supports training strategies to ensure compliance with DOC policies and external oversight mandates.

Handles appellate litigation before federal and state courts, including researching, drafting briefs, arguing appeals, preparing amicus briefs, and collaborating with supervisors, trial attorneys, client agencies, and executive staff on matters affecting New York City.

Provides project management, policy research, analytical, administrative, and communication support to the Deputy Mayor’s Health and Human Services team. Coordinates interagency workstreams, tracks implementation plans, reviews policies and budgets, summarizes research and data, prepares executive briefings, memos, fact sheets, remarks, correspondence, and meeting materials, and supports scheduling and organizational tasks for initiatives serving specialized populations.
