Processes invoices, reimbursements, purchasing card transactions, and vendor payments while ensuring compliance with university policies. Manages vendor accounts, purchasing and finance systems such as Buy2Pay and Concur, and supports financial documentation and training. Manages sponsored research administration across the grant lifecycle, including proposal review, award monitoring, financial reporting, compliance, risk management, audits, and closeout. Serves as a liaison between faculty, research centers, and Harvard administrative offices. Produces activity reports, supports training, advises on research policies, coordinates audits, and handles sensitive communications involving sponsored programs, human subjects, export controls, agreements, and conflicts of interest.

Manages research data acquisition, licensing, contracts, vendor relationships, governance, and compliance at Harvard Kennedy School. Leads data safety staff, evaluates contractual and privacy risks, develops data management plans and SOPs, oversees access and disposition workflows, and advises researchers and institutional stakeholders on data-use obligations, regulatory requirements, and risk mitigation.

Develop and maintain data cleaning, processing, management, and analytic pipelines for complex health, environmental, and administrative datasets. The role uses R, Python, SQL, GitHub, UNIX, HPC clusters, workflow tools, containers, and JSON metadata. Responsibilities include database maintenance, software development, debugging, data exploration, dataset creation, code refactoring, dashboard and data product deployment, documentation, and collaboration with research and infrastructure teams.

Oversees the Academic Flourishing Initiative’s strategy, growth, recruitment, member engagement, revenue development, communications, research reporting, administration, staffing, budgeting, invoicing, and financial compliance. The role collaborates with Harvard leaders, colleges and universities, researchers, finance teams, legal offices, and communications staff to expand the data collaborative and deliver institutional reports and findings.

Oversees the Christianity & The Common Good initiative’s daily operations, staffing, finances, communications, courses, scholarly engagement, and events. Responsibilities include developing administrative and financial systems, managing budgets and transactions, coordinating faculty and researchers, maintaining communications channels, planning conferences and seminars, engaging donors and external partners, and ensuring compliance with Harvard policies. The role is hybrid, requires approximately 10% travel, and is a one-year term appointment with possible extension.

Supports Executive Education finance operations by answering participant and corporate finance inquiries, facilitating payments and vendor setup, processing participant transfers, invoices, credit notes, and refunds in Salesforce, and preparing payment and prepaid accounting reports and journal entries.
