As a Tax Solutions Group Intern, you will work directly with clients on tax-related projects, assist with documentation, and develop business solutions. You will also maintain knowledge of tax regulations and engage in networking activities.

Support ERP implementation and business transformation projects for manufacturing clients. Responsibilities include documenting requirements, assisting with ERP configuration and testing, analyzing accounting and manufacturing processes, supporting data conversion and training, developing process documentation, and coordinating project tasks. The role works with client accounting, operations, engineering, and management teams while developing into a trusted advisor and project leader.

Manage client audit engagements, review staff work, assist in client development, and oversee practice development activities. Requires strong audit and client relationship skills.

Manage tax engagements for clients, supervise staff, ensure compliance with tax regulations, and develop business strategies. Japanese language skills are essential.

Provide administrative support for tax operations including data entry into firm tax applications, maintaining the tax due date system, managing staff requests, e-filing extensions and returns, troubleshooting filing issues, and backing up team members on administrative projects to ensure continuity.

Lead digital transformation and ERP implementation projects for Japanese-owned automotive suppliers. Serve as a bilingual functional consultant across procurement, inventory, order fulfillment, production, and supply chain processes. Facilitate Japanese and English workshops, design future-state processes, configure and test Plex ERP solutions, support data migration and deployment, create project deliverables, train users, and assist with proposals and client presentations.

Lead accounting advisory engagements including transaction accounting (M&A, divestitures), accounting transformation, interim accounting support, implementation of complex GAAP standards, financial analysis and forecasting, client relationship and practice development, and project and engagement management.

Prepare monthly journal entries, workpapers, and financial statements; support management and regulatory reporting; analyze intercompany balances and partner capital activity; assist with budgeting, forecasts, tax preparation, external audit readiness, and presentations to leadership. Support finance operations across international entities and contribute to annual financial planning and ad hoc reporting.

Provide administrative and operational support to multiple partners and their teams: prepare proposals, presentations, reports and invoices; coordinate meetings, events and travel; manage firm systems (Workday, WYN, LCvista) and train staff; support office-level needs and frequent internal/external communications while maintaining confidentiality.

The role involves managing the staffing and scheduling processes, collaborating with leadership to optimize resource utilization, and addressing staffing issues in a professional services setting.
