Provides budgetary and financial management support to the Facilities and Fleet department and Central Budget Office. Develops operating and capital budgets, monitors funds, analyzes financial and performance data, conducts cost and rate studies, manages projections and reports, and supports policy research and presentations to city leadership and council. Maintains financial systems, prepares complex spreadsheets and public documents, evaluates funding options, and advises departments on budget trends, constraints, and fiscal planning.

Provides municipal legal services for the City of Boulder. ACA I prosecutes municipal court cases, prepares trials, advises city departments, and supports diversion programs. ACA II provides more complex legal advice, drafts ordinances and resolutions, negotiates contracts, represents the City in hearings, and mentors less experienced attorneys. Both roles require legal research, written and oral advocacy, collaboration with public stakeholders, and compliance with city policies.
