Lead venture-building and event programs for Holtzbrinck’s AI Hub: source and form founder teams, validate and launch ventures, prepare board funding recommendations with milestones and stop criteria, and run flagship events (Liquid Content Summit), demo days, and hackathons to drive partnerships, pilots, and investments.

Build and manage a Bay Area AI network to source, screen, and brief startup and partnership opportunities; provide regular ecosystem and investment intelligence to the Executive Board; connect portfolio companies with relevant builders and partners; represent the group at events and drive founder scouting and collaboration.

Develop and execute creative title-specific consumer and trade marketing campaigns across genres. Manage advertising, influencer programs, early reading platforms, social promotions, sales assets, budgets, reporting, and communication with authors, agents, editors, and sales.

Field sales role responsible for selling Macmillan Learning products across assigned Virginia accounts. Conduct on-campus calls, presentations, demos, manage CRM and reporting, sample distribution, travel frequently, and meet sales and administrative requirements.
