Leads backend and cloud architecture for federal and geospatial programs. Designs scalable, secure systems for data ingestion, geospatial processing, machine learning, APIs, databases, and service delivery. Oversees backend development, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, CI/CD, observability, security, reliability, and FinOps. Supervises and mentors backend staff while collaborating with data scientists, GIS professionals, project managers, federal stakeholders, and external partners.

Build and maintain backend services, APIs, data models, ETL pipelines, and cloud-based workflows for geospatial and remote sensing data. Own QA/QC activities by designing automated tests, validation checks, accuracy assessments, benchmark datasets, and reproducibility standards. Collaborate with data scientists, AI engineers, cloud engineers, GIS professionals, and project managers to deliver reliable, defensible geospatial products and clearly communicate limitations, uncertainty, and data quality findings.

Supports the full employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, HR systems and data integrity, benefits and compensation processes, training, performance support, compliance administration, events, reporting, personnel files, and employee communications. The coordinator also processes invoices, monitors the HR inbox, maintains documentation, administers HIPAA training, and assists with HR projects while ensuring confidentiality, accuracy, and a positive employee experience.

Part-time intern supporting affordable housing initiatives through research, administrative assistance, event and convening coordination, written content development, network outreach, stakeholder communications, and public inquiry management. The role researches housing, planning, economic development, and displacement-prevention topics while helping strengthen the I'm HOME network and Housing Access and Affordability project.

Coordinates place-based projects and initiatives for the Remaking Local Economies team. Responsibilities include managing timelines and follow-up, coordinating local partners, conducting light research, preparing reports and presentations, supporting communications and marketing content, monitoring spending and procurements, organizing events, responding to inquiries, and maintaining network records. The role requires strong writing, organization, stakeholder management, and multitasking skills, with hybrid work and approximately 10% travel.
