Build and operate Slate’s hybrid Kubernetes platform across AWS EKS and self-managed clusters. Develop Python and AWS CDK infrastructure, maintain CI/CD and GitOps deployment workflows, support production systems, monitor reliability, participate in on-call rotations, troubleshoot incidents, automate recurring work, and document operational processes. Partner with digital, data engineering, manufacturing, and enterprise teams to deliver secure infrastructure, environments, access, and deployment pipelines.

Architect and build Slate’s hybrid AWS and on-premises Kubernetes platform, including infrastructure as code, networking, security, CI/CD, GitOps, observability, reliability practices, and self-service environments. Establish SLOs, on-call processes, incident management, and cost controls while partnering across digital, data, manufacturing, IT, and security teams. Lead through architecture, production code, documentation, and mentoring without direct reports.

Leads human resources strategy and employee relations for a new manufacturing plant. Responsibilities include building plant culture, workforce planning, talent management, recruiting, engagement, performance management, compensation, compliance, change management, and HR team development. Partners with plant leadership, uses people analytics to guide decisions, supports safety and manufacturing initiatives, and oversees HR policies and employee issues for a large multi-shift workforce.

Lead Slate’s company-wide cybersecurity program across corporate IT, cloud, applications, vehicle systems, manufacturing OT, enterprise platforms, privacy, compliance, security operations, and supply-chain risk. Set strategy, governance, budgets, and risk priorities; mature audit readiness; build and lead the security team; establish vehicle and OT security programs; oversee identity, incident response, threat intelligence, vendor risk, and secure development; and communicate security posture to executives and the board.

Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI-powered personalization across Slate’s customer journey, including vehicle design, accessory discovery, purchase, and ongoing engagement. Lead recommendation and discovery experiences, experimentation, metrics, and guardrails while aligning Engineering, Design, Sales, Growth, Brand, and Customer Service. Develop PR/FAQs, represent customer experience in company strategy, and mentor other product managers. The role requires strong product leadership across ambiguous, cross-functional, end-to-end experiences.

Leads Lean Manufacturing and industrial engineering initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes, reduce waste, improve quality, and lower costs. Responsibilities include value stream mapping, time studies, line balancing, capacity analysis, continuous improvement, KPI reporting, NPI and plant launch support, PFMEA, control plans, and operator training. Collaborates with Engineering, Quality, Production, and Supply Chain teams in an automotive manufacturing environment.

Own and deploy statistical, AI, and machine learning models for demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning. Analyze forecast accuracy, develop scenarios, manage data pipelines, create KPI reporting, and translate insights into operational recommendations. Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Purchasing, Production, Finance, and business units to support rolling 12–24-month planning and continuous process improvement.

Leads the company’s corporate income tax function, including federal, state, and local compliance, tax provision, planning, audits, risk management, R&D tax credits, transfer pricing, and tax technology initiatives. Advises executives on tax implications of strategic decisions, maintains SOX controls, manages external advisors, and mentors the tax team while helping build a scalable tax function.

Owns warranty and service parts accounting, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, roll-forwards, inventory adjustments, close deliverables, and financial disclosures. Supports audits, forecasting, internal controls, SOX readiness, and cross-functional accounting analysis. The role also improves SAP processes and helps establish scalable accounting controls in a high-growth automotive environment.

Lead Systems and Network Engineering teams and own infrastructure strategy for Slate’s manufacturing plant. Manage server, network, cloud, and OT/ICS environments; oversee infrastructure projects, reliability, security, automation, monitoring, incident response, vendors, budgets, and operational readiness. Partner with plant and business stakeholders to support production continuity while developing team capabilities and operational standards.
