Participates in risk-focused statutory examinations of insurance companies under the guidance of experienced professionals. Learns statutory accounting, insurance regulation, examination tools, and industry-specific areas. Lead and manage multiple not-for-profit audit engagements (including single audits under Uniform Guidance) from planning through delivery; serve as primary client contact; review workpapers and financial statements for GAAP and ASC 958 compliance; supervise and develop audit staff; monitor engagement budgets and timelines; collaborate with tax and advisory teams; identify business development opportunities and travel to client sites as needed.
