Top Tech Jobs & Startup Jobs

Develop and maintain embedded firmware for a home-cleaning robot, including hardware bring-up, device drivers, controls algorithms, motor and sensor tooling, and electromechanical debugging. Analyze logs and physical-system data to diagnose failures, support hardware changes, and improve robot behavior. The role requires strong embedded C/C++ or systems programming experience, microcontroller expertise, electronics and mechanical understanding, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Design intuitive experiences for a home robotics product by exploring concepts, translating complex problems into flows and interfaces, building Figma and AI-powered prototypes, presenting ideas, collaborating with engineers, refining interactions, and following designs through implementation. The intern will contribute to visual and interaction consistency while developing product design judgment through experimentation and critique.

Build and manage pipelines for technical roles in robotics, ML/AI, embedded systems, and software engineering. Develop research-driven sourcing strategies, write personalized outreach, partner with hiring managers and founders, track talent-market intelligence, and continuously improve recruiting processes. The role requires independent judgment, comfort with ambiguity, mission alignment, and ownership in a small, fast-moving team.

Create social-first video and photography for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, paid social, and digital channels. Own projects from concept and capture through editing, including lighting, audio, color, motion graphics, typography, and sound design. Produce product, lifestyle, and behind-the-scenes content, direct on-camera talent, develop creative variations for testing, and contribute ideas to strengthen Matic’s creative voice.

Own customer support tickets from initial response through resolution, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, coordinate repairs and escalations, analyze support data for recurring problems, and develop proactive self-service systems. The intern will build deep product knowledge across robotics, AI, hardware, software, and the Matic app while creating AI-powered support tools and collaborating with Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Operations.

Matic is accepting applications from exceptional candidates whose backgrounds do not match a current opening. Applicants should submit a resume and explain how they could contribute to Matic’s home robotics mission, including its privacy-first robotic floor-cleaning product and spatial AI technology.

Lead perception research for autonomous robotics, develop computer vision algorithms, mentor engineers, and improve ML infrastructure for edge devices.

Design, build, and iterate electromechanical test rigs and automated setups to reproduce field failures and run accelerated life, fatigue, vibration, shock, thermal, and humidity tests. Integrate actuators, motor drivers, sensors, and DAQ, automate test execution and logging with scripts, support root-cause analysis, create CAD/drawings, and scale the reliability lab while partnering with cross-functional teams to validate and harden products before shipping.

Lead the design and manufacturing of PCBs and subsystems for home robotics, collaborate with teams for product development, and ensure validation of electrical systems.

Design and manufacture critical PCBAs end-to-end: component selection, schematic capture, PCB layout, prototyping, bring-up, debugging, validation, and signal characterization. Integrate electromechanically with firmware and mechanical teams, develop test plans and specifications, and work with contract manufacturers to ensure production quality (including occasional onsite support).
