The Senior AI Engineer will lead the design, development, and deployment of AI solutions for federal customers, ensuring compliance and governance.

Leads full-lifecycle development of mission-critical cloud applications and large-scale distributed systems. Responsibilities include requirements analysis, object-oriented system design, full-stack development, integration, testing, CI/CD, production deployment, system enhancement, technical documentation, and collaboration with data scientists, engineers, and product managers. The role involves NoSQL and massively parallel architectures, with desired expertise in Neo4j, Java microservices, graph analytics, cloud scalability, advanced analytics, and complex data modeling.

Develops data engineering and systems engineering solutions for federal customers. Responsibilities include requirements development and traceability, system architecture, SOA and DoDAF implementation, interface and configuration management, risk and verification planning, integration and testing, certification and accreditation support, network security hardening, troubleshooting, network design, and technical documentation. The role also provides technical direction, evaluates design alternatives, manages system baselines, and supports program reviews and control boards.

Collaborate on requirements analysis, software design, DevSecOps practices, and continuous improvement while supporting federal government customers.

Develop, test, maintain, and enhance enterprise Java applications, RESTful APIs, backend services, and relational database solutions. Support containerization, Kubernetes deployments, application modernization, automated testing, GitLab CI/CD, Agile development, architecture discussions, code reviews, troubleshooting, and full software development lifecycle activities in secure federal environments.

Administer, maintain, secure, and troubleshoot mission-critical Linux and Windows systems in classified environments. Manage core infrastructure services, virtualization, containers, networking, storage, identity, authentication, and security tools. Apply system hardening and compliance requirements, resolve issues across the operating system and application layers, and maintain infrastructure availability and performance. The role requires TS/SCI clearance with an agency-appropriate polygraph, U.S. citizenship, a technical bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience substitution, and extensive system administration experience.
