Lead Saxo’s global AI and client-facing platform strategy, connecting technology, client experience, commercial growth, operational performance, and regulatory compliance. Own the Platforms & AI journey, define AI integration across Saxo platforms and external ecosystems, shape investment priorities with executive leadership, and lead a high-performing international organization. The role requires strategic vision, strong commercial judgment, executive stakeholder management, transformation leadership, and compelling communication in a regulated financial-services environment.

Build and operate production-grade AML data products, ETL pipelines, data models, integrations, and ML-ready datasets. Ensure data quality, lineage, security, governance, observability, reliability, and regulatory compliance. Support transaction monitoring, customer segmentation, risk rating, sanctions screening, and financial crime prevention initiatives. Lead architecture decisions, production support, incident response, CI/CD improvements, automated testing, code reviews, mentoring, and engineering standards.

Own and operate Saxo’s observability platform across hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure. Design scalable solutions for metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, and alerting using tools such as Elastic, Grafana, Kubernetes, and SCOM. Partner with engineering, platform, security, and architecture teams; lead incident investigations and post-mortems; improve reliability, performance, cost, and operational efficiency; and establish observability standards and best practices.

Process end-to-end KYC onboarding and ongoing due diligence for VIP private and corporate clients. Conduct enhanced due diligence, identify and escalate financial crime risks, meet processing and quality standards, perform quality checks, and collaborate with financial crime prevention and commercial stakeholders. The role also supports process improvement, automation opportunities, knowledge sharing, and compliant client experiences within a regulated environment.

Lead ownership of data sourcing, modelling, and distribution for compliance and reporting. Define and implement a central data foundation, set standards, ensure data quality, guide teams, and document end-to-end data flows to enable consistent, reusable reporting solutions.

Lead identification, assessment, reporting and mitigation of digital risks across cybersecurity, privacy, data protection, AI, physical security and technology. Maintain control oversight, ensure regulatory compliance, evaluate new technologies, implement controls based on frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF 2.0), and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational resilience.

Lead development and execution of AML quality assurance framework; perform QA on client onboarding and ODD/CDD processes, report findings, recommend policy and process improvements, and collaborate with stakeholders to mitigate AML risks.

Responsible for managing database environments, optimizing performance, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with teams on automation and security measures.

Lead and execute IT audits across Saxo, evaluating IT architecture, system development, operations, and security. Develop audit programs, identify control gaps, recommend improvements, and follow up to ensure remediation and risk reduction.
