As a Lead Compressor Design Engineer, you will oversee the design and development of compressor units, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and customer specifications, while leading projects from start to finish and conducting hands-on testing in the lab.

Designs electrical control systems for engineered-to-order and configured-to-order HVACR equipment. Responsibilities include control circuit design, conductor and component sizing, schematics and panel layouts, PLC platform support, customer project management, troubleshooting, training, standards development, and collaboration with customers, vendors, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Executes supplier transitions, resourcing initiatives, and sustaining procurement projects. Coordinates cross-functional teams and suppliers, manages timelines, action plans, risks, documentation, and status reporting, and ensures operational readiness and continuity of supply. Supports sourcing and commodity strategies, resolves procurement challenges, expedites critical activities, and identifies process improvements. The role is fully onsite in Sidney, Ohio, with travel up to 10%.

Lead supply chain and sourcing activities for assigned commodities, develop and track supplier metrics, drive supplier performance improvements, manage cost savings and working capital initiatives, coordinate cross-functional supply chain projects with Quality, Engineering, and Operations, and support New Product Development and sustaining engineering efforts.

Drive territory sales for HVACR products by developing wholesalers, contractors, and distribution partners; create territory plans, execute promotions and training, track opportunities in Salesforce, report performance, and collaborate cross-functionally to grow revenue across compressors, controls, thermostats, and condensing units. Role requires travel within Western Missouri and all of Kansas and a customer-first sales approach.

Lead market strategy for Americas Foodservice and adjacent markets. Own market sizing, segmentation, competitive and regulatory analysis, VoC research, market roadmaps, value assessments, and M&A opportunity identification. Align cross-functional teams to translate insights into product, solution, and go-to-market plans while embedding market intelligence into planning cadences and driving 5-year growth initiatives.

Manage small-to-mid technical projects for cold chain services from initiation to closeout. Coordinate field execution, track financials and schedules, engage customers, support PMO processes, and ensure safety and quality.

Provides on-site technical support for manufacturing operations, quality, product engineering, and production troubleshooting. Coordinates pilot parts, pilot runs, engineering changes, deviations, suppliers, and cross-functional projects. Leads investigations into customer, plant, design, and machine issues; supports quality and cost improvement initiatives; analyzes data; and helps minimize production downtime. Requires domestic travel up to 25%.

Design, build, and maintain Optimizely CMS-based headless sites with Next.js/React front ends. Implement GraphQL/REST APIs, DAM integration, CI/CD on Azure, and performance, SEO, and accessibility optimizations. Collaborate with product owners, designers, and developers; participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to deliver scalable digital experiences.

Support manufacturing finance through budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, cost and inventory reconciliations, and KPI reporting. Build models and analytical tools, partner with manufacturing and engineering on business cases, investigate variances, and provide actionable financial insights to support operational execution and continuous improvement.
