The role supports more than 700 systems, 26,000 cores, 10 PB of storage, and over 1,000 users at Johnson Space Center.

Administer Windows and Linux systems across aerospace research laboratories supporting crewed spaceflight analysis. Manage wired and wireless lab networks, apply security updates, investigate system problems, monitor system health, and assist users with IT issues. The role also involves developing and following operational best practices, collaborating with other system administrators, and supporting configuration management, monitoring, logging, and NASA security processes.
