Develops profitable sales by acquiring new customers, expanding existing accounts, promoting electrical products, and maintaining customer relationships. Provides product recommendations, quotations, and purchasing support; coordinates with suppliers and internal teams; resolves payment issues; tracks market and competitor information; maintains sales records; and travels frequently to customer and offsite locations.

Promote and sell Vendor Managed Inventory services, develop and maintain inventory schedules, launch new VMI accounts, collaborate with vendors and internal sales teams, and visit customer locations to align inventory with requirements and service-level expectations.

Generate new and repeat sales by building customer relationships, demonstrating products, providing tailored solutions, coordinating quotes, and using digital tools and CRM to manage the sales lifecycle.

Support outside sales to grow datacom product sales through product demonstrations, customer relationship building, technical support, and training. Identify sales opportunities, present proposals to technical and leadership audiences, maintain supplier relationships, and assist branches with product knowledge and market planning.

Manage and execute onsite Vendor Managed Inventory agreements: monitor and replenish inventory, place and expedite orders, perform on-site assessments and physical inventory, train new hires, coordinate with sales and customers, resolve billing/product issues, use CRM and business systems to support quotes/orders, and identify opportunities to grow sales and profitability.

Prepare project quotations for low-to-moderate complexity switchgear projects by reviewing bid packages, issuing RFQs to vendors, compiling bid tabulations, negotiating supplier pricing, and submitting final proposals with required documentation while collaborating with sales, customers, and vendors.
