Lead and manage the Electrical Test Lab at the Marshall Technology Center, overseeing electrical testing, staff operations, budget management, and compliance with safety and testing standards.

The PLC/Controls Engineer will design, develop, and maintain PLC software for production equipment, support troubleshooting, and manage engineering projects.

Design, develop, and maintain PLC, HMI, SCADA, motion control, and industrial networks for fiber manufacturing. Optimize draw‑tower and coating processes, provide hands‑on troubleshooting and field support, lead automation projects, integrate data acquisition/historian systems, and drive continuous improvement for quality, uptime, and safety.

Lead technical execution of capital projects at manufacturing plants: produce and maintain 2D/3D CAD layouts, verify foundations and structural requirements, support equipment installation, alignment and commissioning, troubleshoot in the field, coordinate vendors/contractors, manage project plans, schedules, budgets, documentation, and procurement activities while spending significant time on-site.

Lead capital projects across manufacturing sites from planning through commissioning. Define scope, build schedules, manage budgets, coordinate contractors and suppliers, review engineering/CAD documents, oversee on-site execution, track performance and change control, and ensure smooth handoff to plant teams.

Responsibilities include maintenance and troubleshooting of production equipment, documentation of work performed, electrical installations, and participation in technical projects.

Lead Supply Chain systems and process improvements across North America, focusing on ERP and Kinaxis planning platform deployment, cross‑functional integration, process standardization, project and change management, and stakeholder communication to optimize planning, logistics, and system adoption.

The Controls Engineer oversees plant automation and control systems, ensuring reliability and performance through PLC programming, SCADA system management, and continuous process improvements.
