The Inside Sales Associate engages with customers to fulfill their needs, manages sales orders, handles delivery schedules, and provides customer service.

Sells POOLCORP products to pool builders, service providers, and retailers within an assigned territory. Responsibilities include prospecting, cold calling, lead generation, customer relationship management, sales presentations, product demonstrations, negotiating and closing sales, post-sale support, quoting, CRM documentation, market research, and attending trade events. The role requires regular territory travel, industry product knowledge, a valid driver’s license, and at least two years of B2B sales experience.

Collects and posts customer payments, reconciles cash receipts and deposits, generates invoices, processes credit applications, investigates account issues, manages credit holds, and pursues overdue balances across multiple sales centers. The role maintains accounts receivable records, handles customer inquiries, coordinates with managers and credit teams, and supports collections, claims, chargebacks, returns, and bad-check processing.

Assists walk-in and phone customers with product questions, sales orders, invoices, payments, warranty items, and delivery estimates. Recommends products, supports customer pickup experiences, and builds customer relationships. The role also pulls, stages, distributes, and replenishes merchandise; uses an RF scanner occasionally; and cross-trains in receiving, shipping, and warehouse operations. Employees must safely move products up to 100 pounds and complete drug testing and background verification.

Generates new business and sales growth across pool, spa, construction, and related customers. Prospects through cold calling, networking, referrals, and research; builds long-term customer relationships; conducts sales presentations and product demonstrations; negotiates and closes sales; provides post-sale support; maintains CRM records; coordinates with marketing, leadership, and vendors; and monitors market and competitor trends within an assigned territory.

Supports the FP&A team by collecting, validating, and analyzing financial data; preparing reports and ad hoc analyses; monitoring KPIs; conducting root-cause analysis; assisting with forecasting, monthly close processes, and business decision-making. The intern also builds financial databases and creates reports for senior management and field and corporate support teams.

Identifies and negotiates relationships with current customers, prospects for new pool and outdoor-living business, conducts cold calls, qualifies leads, presents products, develops customer relationships, provides quotes, closes sales, coordinates delivery, and supports operations and accounts receivable. The role requires at least two years of B2B wholesale sales experience, product knowledge, driving eligibility, local travel, computer skills, and occasional lifting.
