Supports the Global People Support and HR Operations teams through HR research, project and process support, administrative assistance, and potentially HR metrics and analytics. The intern will gain hands-on experience in global compensation and benefits, employment policies, mobility, HR information systems, and mission-driven HR projects. The position requires 30–40 hours weekly during the spring 2027 internship period and may be onsite, hybrid, or remote.

Lead messaging and content strategy for major and principal donor events, campaigns, and executive engagement. Create multi-channel content (digital, print, stage), develop scalable messaging frameworks, coach stakeholders, and support event scripting and donor communications to drive engagement and brand consistency across IJM globally.

Lead creation and production of personalized and scalable donor materials for mid, major, and principal donors. Manage proposal/report writers, oversee workflows and quality standards, develop messaging strategy and narrative architecture, translate programmatic and financial data into compelling donor-facing content, and partner with global and fundraising teams to align donor communications with lifecycle stages and enterprise priorities.

Lead institutional grant compliance and administration across IJM's global portfolio: maintain audit-ready files, advise on donor regulations, negotiate award terms, develop policies and trainings, manage risk and subrecipient monitoring, and build grants capacity across regions.

Lead enterprise data strategy, architecture, governance, and analytics to create a unified, federated data ecosystem. Build scalable platforms and capabilities, enable self-service BI and advanced analytics, drive AI enablement, steward data governance and quality, and lead change management, talent strategy, and adoption across global teams to support programs, fundraising, and operations.

Lead US accounting and operations for IJM, directing accountants and payroll staff, managing month- and year-end close, statutory and tax filings, audits, Workday financial operations, and internal controls. Serve as liaison between US operations and Global Finance, develop policies/procedures, support expatriate compensation processes, and provide training and mentorship while ensuring compliance with nonprofit GAAP/IRS requirements.
